Of all European regional airports Pisa’s Galileo Galilei is the one that is closest to a railway terminal than any other European Regional airport. You can get from the terminal to the platform by passing along just under 40 metres of covered walkway. Direct and regular railway links connect Pisa Airport to Pisa Central Station and to Florence.

At Pisa Airport, you can buy your railway ticket at the information office in the arrivals hall. The railway terminal is located just outside the departures hall. 

Trains from Pisa Airport to Pisa Central Station

There is a regular train service which operates at 30 minute intervals from Pisa Airport to Pisa Central Station from where you can get connections to a number of Italian destinations. For more information visit www.ferroviedellostato.it

The trains start departing from Pisa Airport at 07:35 and run at 30 minute intervals throughout the day until 21:35. The journey time is 5 minutes.

From Pisa Central Station the first train leaves for the airport at 06:20 and again they run at regular 30 minute intervals throughout the day until 21:20.

Trains from Pisa Airport to Florence Firenze Station

Pisa Airport and Firenze SMN railway station are connected by six trains a day. The Pisa-Florence line also connects to Pontedra and Empoli. The average total journey time is around 1 hour and 30 minutes and the cost of a single ticket from Pisa Airport to Florence SMN is €5.60
